he Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crimes Wing has been further divided into 10 sections to curb the rise in cybercrimes and tighten the noose around the accused as citizens are facing severe difficulties.
Lack of staff in the FIA was increasing the burden on the agency. Ten more sections of cyber crime have been activated, which will lead to better results by dividing the investigation of complaints and cases.
A senior FIA official said on condition of anonymity that the Cyber Crime Cell has been receiving constant complaints about the rise in crimes related to the internet world.
“Criminals harass citizens with cybercrime,” he said. “The majority of cybercrime victims are young girls and minors.”
