Missing man found dead from homicidal violence in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

Dallas police are investigating after the body of a missing man was found in east Oak Cliff.

Officers were called the afternoon of Nov. 5 to the 3000 block of Southerland Avenue, near East Kiest Boulevard, where the man’s body had been found in a wooded area.

Police said this week that the Dallas County medical examiner’s office identified the man as 31-year-old Lamarcus Washington and determined that he died from homicidal violence.

Washington’s family had reported him missing Sept. 10, police said.
