rlington began giving COVID-19 vaccinations to first responders and front-line health care workers on Tuesday after receiving more than 3,000 doses of the vaccine produced by drugmaker Moderna.

The city has turned its Esports Stadium and Convention Center at 1200 Ballpark Way into a vaccination site, following a plan the city developed for this first week of vaccine distribution.

Eligible first responders and front-line health care workers must live or work in Arlington, Bedford, Colleyville, Dalworthington Gardens, D-FW International Airport, Euless, Grapevine, Hurst, Kennedale, Mansfield or Pantego.

Vaccinations will be given today through 6 p.m., and every day through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vaccine recipients will need to wear a mask and bring a photo ID as well as a department or agency ID that shows their eligibility. Recipients who registered ahead of time online should bring a printed email barcode showing their registration, which is recommended but not required, according to the city.
